You be calm down!

A few days ago I was having a tickle war with Mia, and after a few rounds of some serious tickling, she looked at me very sternly and said, "Mommy, you be calm down!" I was laughing so hard I don't think I could have tickled her again if I'd wanted to. Then the next night, we were out at dinner and Mia was acting up a bit. Jeff leaned in close to her face to correct her, and she responded with a stern, "Daddy, you be calm down!" Apparently we've told her to calm down a few times... It's funny during a tickle war, but it's hard to keep a serious face on while parenting when she tries to parent us right back. ;o)
